Dear Adoptive Family Your search for a healthy, well bred, well cared for puppy, echos our previous situation to the letter. We have been an exclusively Bichon home, for close to 20 years now and our biological twin girls, (from Fern & David) Bichon Lovers, Bella & Ciara are children number 4 & 5. Our first two bichon girls came from different CKC Registered Breeders who were no longer breeding Bichons so we too were left in limbo when we lost our beloved Dakota in April of 2014. Little Dixie was just 2 years old when Kota passed from Thyroid cancer and we desperately wanted to find a sibling for her. I too contacted every Bichon Breeder in Canada, not to mention a half dozen US Breeders without any luck, until we found Fern & her Bichon Lovers kennel. Not being much of a Social Media type person ( I dont Facebook, Tweet, Twitter nor subscribe to Instagram) I was totally unaware of how transparent Ferns breeding program was at the time of our search. There simply isnt another Breeder out there with her own website, & YouTube Channel which speaks volumes as to the time & effort Fern devotes to her breeding program. We were pleasantly surprised to see her disclose as much info as she does, regarding the Bichon Mums, Dads and previous litters that she has had for the past several years, complete with tons of References & Testimonials from previous adoptive families... something else that no other Bichon Breeder offers. She is the only Breeder that permits you to actually select the gender of your puppy, not to mention select the very puppy that your family would like from her current litters.... something no one else would even consider. One year later, Fern has always been quickly & readily available to respond to any questions that we have had. We have had numerous pre Adoptive Facetime sessions with her and a handful of Facetime calls since our Adoption on November 15th, 2015. If you havent already put your deposit down on your puppy then do so immediately!! Fern's puppies literally fly out the door annually, and Fern really honours the timing of Deposits when it comes to a First Come First choice scenario. With regards to Fern & Davids home and kennel.... she and David have an immaculate home and well thought out, incredible Kennel and Nursery!! They are absolutely & steadfastly devoted to, as well as scientifically knowledgeable about, Nutrition, health, complete puppy rearing.... they dont simply Breed puppies to rush them out the door. Incredible as it may seem, Fern & David really have a hands on approach for every puppy born in their home. They intimately know each of their Mums, Dads and temperment of the puppies born and these Bichons are totally clean, healthy, doted over & loved long before they reach their forever homes. Our twins are super alert, extremely bright, very social and easily trained. They are playful, interactive, and most importantly, chemical free as well as healthy inside & out! We have watched them grow into beautiful, clever, healthy dogs that we are proud to own and show off! I could go on and on but I think that you probably have the info you need to make your decision. Dont hesitate to pursue your Adoption with Fern. In all sincerity, you wont find a better Breeder anywhere so RUN DONT WALK to get your Deposit in to her ASAP! Fern and David must be the best breeders there are. Their puppies are raised in a home environment with lots of love. They are so knowledgeable in providing information to keep the puppies healthy that continues even after they are adopted. Our family is so happy to have Rio he will keep us young for sure.... Our family adopted Pamela, a retired grown up, this fall. She is absolutely lovely and a great joy as an addition to our family. We hope to have her with us for a long time. Thank you Fern and Dave for raising such a wonderful dog!... Collapse

We got our little girl Sweetie as a puppy. She goes to regular check ups and every time the vet says she is in perfect health. She is super sweet, affectionate, playful and smart. She loves to play with people and follows everywhere you go. She also loves other dogs. We're very happy with our Sweetie!... Collapse

I got my boy Timmie from Bichon Lovers; he is now 18 months old and the love of my life. He has no health issues, my vet said he is a very healthy boy, no patellofemoral syndrome in his knees, no allergies, no tear staining in his eyes and very healthy coat and skin. He too is very very social - loves children, very gentle with everyone, not aggressive at all, well socialized with other animals. He came to us happy and healthy and continues to be so. I highly recommend this breeder for anyone looking for a well bred and loved Bichon Frise before they head off to their forever home with you.... Collapse
